Open To: Singers with Experience Singing in Harmony

A fun group and solo singing camp! 

Led by co-directors of the Brooklyn Harmonics Teens, Tweens and Twenty+ Vocal Program, this camp focuses on close harmony ensemble singing, breathing and vocal health, interpretation and style, microphone technique, arranging for vocal ensemble or solo voice and performing with a live band. In the large ensemble, students sing dynamic, close-harmony arrangements of pop, rock, jazz and world music, as well as some original tunes.

Brooklyn Harmonics Teens Vocal Camp is open to students ages 13-18 who have some experience singing solo, or in an ensemble.

How to Register

The deadline to apply for The Brooklyn Harmonics Teens Vocal Camp is June 15th. Students who would like to apply after June 15th, please email summercamp@bkcm.org.

• Step 1. Fill out the Brooklyn Harmonics Summer Camp Registration Form.
• Step 2. Review the audition guidelines below and prepare for your audition.
• Step 3. Look for an email from the Summer Camp Administrative Team.

*Students registered for the 2024-2025 Brooklyn Harmonics Teens program at BKCM are not required to audition but must fill out the interest form.

Sample Schedule*

• 1:00 – 1:30 – Warm-Ups and Vocal Technique
• 1:30 – 2:00 – Solo Singing and Sectional Rehearsals
• 2:00 – 2:45 – Vocal Arranging 
• 2:45 – 3:15 – Break
• 3:00 – 5:00 – Vocal Ensemble Rehearsal and Sectionals

*On the final day of camp, July 25th, there will be a showcase at 4 PM in the BKCM Concert Hall.

BKCM Summer Policies

• There are no refunds or credits for private lessons, camps or summer programs.
• All registrations for summer programs and camps are final and there are no withdrawals.
