Embark on a Weeklong Piano Journey!

Open To: Beginners with no experience on the piano, students who have familiarity with the piano but no formal training, and intermediate students with 1-2 years of piano lessons.

Head to the keys next summer with our popular Piano Explorers Camp—a fun, interactive camp focused on learning piano, developing musicianship and making friends. For beginners, this camp takes a fun approach to learning the piano that engages ear-training, games and improvisation to introduce students to the piano keyboard and improve their hand-eye coordination and listening skills. Students who have some previous experience on the piano perform both beginner-to-intermediate piano pieces and arrangements of popular songs.

Sample Daily Schedule

In addition to daily piano and musicianship classes, each day is packed with fun activities such as world drumming, songwriting, art making and fun outdoor activities. See the sample schedule below for all the details.

• 9:00 – 9:15 – Drop off and Welcome
• 9:15 – 10:15 – Group Piano Lessons
• 10:15 – 11:15 – Music & Movement / Musicianship
• 11:15 – 11:45 – Lunch 
• 11:45 – 1:15 – Outside Play (Games & Activities in the Garden)
• 1:15 – 2:00 – Piano Ensembles / Song Writing 
• 2:00 – 2:45 – Music & Art / Drumming
• 2:45 – 3:00 – Goodbye and Dismissal

*Parent Observation Day – Last day of camp from 2-3 pm
