The Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale is going on a rare tour…to the Upper West Side! Performing in the graceful acoustic of St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church, we’ll be joined by Manhattan’s Litha Symphony Orchestra for Anton Bruckner’s sublime Mass No. 2 in E minor for chorus and wind ensemble. The work is one of the classics for this unique combination, and will be performed to honor the 200th anniversary of Bruckner’s birth. The evening will round out with another masterpiece of 19th-century wind music, Dvořák’s Serenade for Winds in D minor, all under the baton of BCC director Conrad Chu.
