Rain or shine, Mixed Masala and BKCM will be celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colors, on Sunday, April 6 at Prospect Park! Sadly, due to the humidity, our live musical act Nakshatra Trio will not be able to join us, but we will have recorded music and crafts for kids.
The celebration begins at 1 pm with picnicking at Long Meadow (near Grand Army Plaza) — bring a blanket and snacks. At 2 pm, attendees will be invited to join in the traditional celebration of throwing colored powder. Packets of powder are available for purchase online below, or in person at the event.
We recommend that you wear white clothing and expect to get messy! Please either bring your own eco-friendly dry Holi powder or purchase some from us below to pick up at the event!
