BKCM is excited to showcase some of our talented Junior and Senior Suzuki Program students in this special recital! Hear performances from our advanced students, many of whom have been learning their instrument since a very young age. Tickets for the concert can be purchased below; our suggested price per ticket is $10. Read more about our “pay as you wish” ticketing model below.
The Suzuki Method is recognized worldwide as a highly effective approach for teaching children the language of music. Generations of students have begun a lifelong journey of musical enrichment through this approach. The Suzuki Program at the Conservatory offers programs in violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, piano and bass. The curriculum incorporates three elements that provide the essentials needed for instrumental music education: private lessons, theory classes and group classes. Parent involvement is an integral component of the Suzuki approach. Parents learn and practice alongside the child, functioning as role models and providing encouragement.
At BKCM, we believe that musical experiences should be accessible to all. Therefore, we have a sliding scale ticket model available for this event.
Our suggested ticket price for the program is $10 per person. If you are able to give this amount or more, your valued contribution will go directly to student scholarships within the Suzuki Department. These scholarships are incredibly impactful, giving young students access the high standard of education the Suzuki method provides. If you need to pay a reduced amount, we welcome you to do so.
