Flute ensemble is for young flutists with at least one year of experience in private lessons or a school music program. This ensemble will improve students’ sight reading, sound production and self expression. Students must have some prior knowledge with reading notation. Students work on intermediate flute repertoire including classical, pop and jazz selections, and are encouraged to practice their ensemble repertoire outside of class. This a wonderful supplement to private lessons or late elementary and middle school band programs.

Instrument Ensembles

BKCM offers a wide range of ensembles for students of all ages and experience levels. Students are motivated to practice repertoire outside of class and encouraged by their peers to take on new challenges. Taught by experts in the field, our ensembles include performance opportunities and a chance to connect with a community of other instrumentalists who are interested in developing their artistry. Students enrolled in our private lessons are eligible to join many ensembles at a highly reduced rate. Contact our registration desk for more information.
