Embark on a Piano Journey This Summer!
Head to the keys this summer with our popular Piano Explorers Camp—a fun, interactive approach to learning piano. Our engaging curriculum will have students reading and playing music in no time. Both beginner level and intermediate level students will learn short musical pieces and discover the joy of playing music with fellow young maestros in a piano ensemble.
The Piano Explorers curriculum is a fun approach to learning the piano that engages movement, ear-training games and improvisation, and is designed to improve students’ tracking, hand-eye coordination and listening skills. No experience is necessary to join this camp!
In addition to a daily piano class, each day is packed with fun activities such as music and movement, world drumming, singing songs, story time, creating art and lots of playtime outdoors!
Sample Schedule
8:30am – 9:00am – Drop-off
9:00am – 10:00am – Music and Movement
10:00am – 11:00am – Piano Class
11:00am – 11:30am – Lunch in the Garden
11:30am – 1:00pm – Outside Play at Lincoln Playground
1:00pm – 2:00pm – Story / Art / Relaxing Time
2:00pm – 2:45pm – World Drumming
2:45pm – 3:00pm – Goodbye Circle Time
