Suzuki Summer Lesson Registration and Information
Summer Session: July 6th – August 29th
Registration is open now. Call 718-622-3300 to enroll.
Suzuki summer lessons are open to all students currently enrolled in the BKCM Suzuki program. Current Suzuki program students should take lessons with their current private teacher. If their teacher is unavailable, students may take lessons with a substitute Suzuki teacher within the Suzuki Program and should consult with their private teacher for recommendations, subject to availability.
Students beginning Suzuki lessons in Fall 2026 are not eligible for summer Suzuki lessons. They may take summer CMS lessons, but not on their primary Suzuki instrument. Students beginning in Fall 2026 may enroll in Summer Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes.
Suzuki students not currently enrolled in the BKCM Suzuki Program — including those accepted as transfer students for the upcoming school year — may take summer lessons only with prior approval from the Suzuki Director. Please contact nora.friedman@bkcm.org.

Registration for summer 2026 private lessons will open April 29th and is open throughout the summer. You can choose to take 30-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute lessons. Please call 718-622-3300 to register for the summer term.
Suzuki Lesson Rates
- 30-minute lesson: $107.91
- 45-minute lesson: $139.51
- 60-minute lesson: $165.67
Fees
$55 Registration Fee – The registration fee is an administrative fee charged once per family per school year upon registration. There are no payment plan options available in the summer term for private lessons.

Suzuki Summer Private Lesson Policies
- Payment Plans are not available for Summer Private Lessons.
- There are no credits or refunds for private lessons, camps or summer programs.
- Lesson times are subject to teacher availability.
- Students may reschedule summer private lessons until June 30th at 4:30pm, pending availability. After June 30th, no rescheduling is allowed.
- There are no makeup lessons available for summer private lessons.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid for private lessons is limited in the Summer term. Families are welcome to contact our Financial Aid Coordinator at kris.mandapat@bkcm.org to inquire about availability.
**There is no private lesson financial aid available for new students in the summer term.
Summer Hours
- Monday to Thursday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
