Suzuki Summer Private Lessons

Ages 6 and up | Suzuki summer lessons are open to students currently enrolled in the BKCM Suzuki program.

Music Therapy Summer Semester

Our Music Therapy program offers a six week summer semester. Music Therapy students meet with their music therapist once a week. The dates of this year’s summer session will be announced soon!

Piano Explorers Camp

Ages: 5-7 (Rising Kindergartners to Rising 2nd Graders) | Head to the keys this summer with our popular Piano Explorers Camp—a fun, interactive camp that focuses on learning piano, developing musicianship and making friends. Open to beginners and students with experience.

BKCM Summer Jazz Camp

Ages: 10-16 | Letʼs Jam and Improvise! All Instruments are welcome! Heat up your jazz and improvisation skills this summer! Students of all levels and experience with jazz are welcome. Students work in small groups and masterclasses with top-notch faculty.

Jazz Instrumental Lab Intensive (Adults)

Adults | In this week-long, small-group ensemble, jazz musicians of all skill levels have the opportunity to collaborate, improvise, rehearse and develop confidence for public performance.

Brooklyn Band Academy Summer Camp

Ages: 10-15 | Schoolʼs out! Letʼs keep the music going! For woodwinds, brass and percussion students who want to keep the music going this summer. Make a joyous sound and perform wind band selections and music from around the globe. 

Brooklyn Harmonics Teens Vocal Camp

Ages: 13-18 | A fun group and solo singing camp! Sing and perform close-harmony arrangements of pop, rock, jazz, world music and original tunes. 

BKCM Keys & Frets Camp

Ages: 8-14 | Sharpen your instrumental skills this summer! Open to piano, guitar and voice students who have been taking private lessons for at least one year as well as intermediate and advanced students who have several years of private lesson experience.

Suzuki Strings and Guitar Camp

Ages: 6-11 | Suzuki violin, cello, bass, and guitar students polish their technique, musicality, and tone while having fun and expanding their understanding of the world of music. Dedicated, world-class Suzuki-trained faculty work with them one-on-one and in group classes.

Chamber Festival Camp

Ages: 12-18 | Explore the joys of playing chamber music. All instruments are welcome! Perform in chamber groups, attend workshops and take semi-private lessons.

Suzuki Early Childhood Education

Ages 0-4 | In this Suzuki-inspired curriculum, teachers introduce songs, rhymes and activities designed to keep children engaged, develop social skills, foster connection and strengthen the foundational musical skills necessary for Suzuki instrumental instruction.

During the summer session, BKCM’s building and garden are open during the following hours:

• Sunday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

• Friday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

• Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Tuition & Fees

Tuition for each summer camp or program is listed on its individual page above.

$50 Registration Fee
The registration fee is an administrative fee charged once per family per school year upon registration.

$50 Missed Payment Fee/Returned Check Fee
Installment payments not made on or before the scheduled due date are subject to a Missed Payment Fee. The Missed Payment Fee is only charged once per missed payment date, per family unit. If a check provided for payment is deposited by BKCM then returned by the bank for non-payment, the payer will be charged a Returned Check Fee.
